The protection of your privacy and, in particular, data protection are important to us. To enable you to obtain, order or customize as many of our services as possible via the Internet, we also need to collect your personal data. This is the only way we can continuously adapt and improve our offer and services to meet your needs. Below you will find out what information we may collect and how we handle it.
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person is entitled to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

Personal data
We require your personal data in order to answer your inquiry or process your order (e.g. table reservation, contact request). Which personal data is transmitted to the controller can be seen from the respective input screen.
Data for the provision of chargeable services
In order to provide chargeable services (e.g. voucher orders, event reservations), we request additional data, such as payment details, in order to process your order. We store this data in our systems until further notice. Payment transactions via the usual means of payment are made exclusively via an encrypted SSL connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. With encrypted communication, the payment data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Technical data
Technical data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website. The following data is stored in log files IP address, date, time, browser request and general information transmitted about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations so that trends can be identified, which we can use to improve our offers accordingly.

The controller may arrange for the data to be passed on to one or more processors, such as a parcel service provider, who will use the personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing the order.
We use your personal data exclusively to provide you with information and services that you have requested and that may be of interest to you.
Data security
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (SSL) via HTTPS. In cooperation with our hosting provider, we endeavor to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that are temporarily stored on your computer. We use cookies to track visitor preferences in order to optimize the design of our website to meet your requirements. Our cookies do not contain any personal data. Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Social plugins
The website may use social plugins (hereinafter referred to as social plugins) from social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.. When you visit our website, these social plugins are deactivated by default, i.e. they do not send any data to the respective social networks without your intervention. Please note that we have no influence on the scope of the data collected by the social networks with their social plugins. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the respective social networks as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the data protection notices of the respective social networks.

Reservation service Guestplan
We use the Guestplan reservation service on our website for online table reservations. We have deliberately sought out a European “white label” provider for reservations. Guestplan from the Netherlands has been offering online reservations for restaurants since 2006. When using the reservation service, you use the input fields to send data such as your name, telephone number, e-mail address, the desired number of guests or comments to Guestplan. This data is required to make an online reservation and must therefore be stored by Guestplan. Please note the Guestplan terms of use.
Stripe payment service
An advance payment is required for group reservations. This is settled directly via Stripe when booking via Guestplan. Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Stripe”). Stripe reserves the right to carry out a credit check and to reject this payment method if the credit check is negative.
Changes
For legal and/or organizational reasons, changes or adjustments to our privacy policy may be necessary. Please refer to the latest version of our privacy policy in this regard.

All information has been compiled with the utmost care. However, we cannot accept any liability for any errors in data collection or data transmission.
